Durian...the king of fruits. It has been quite sometimes we haven't eat durians. But when the durian seller came to the restaurant, without hesitation we purchased 3 biji durians for Rm25.00. They called it Durian Tembaga . What a heavenly taste....

Kopi Luwak

Kopi Luwak...the most expensive coffee in the world. What I had was 2% kopi luwak and 98% coffee arabica. The coffee was bought from Indonesia by my sister. Anyway I already tasted the most expensive coffee in the world or just a fraction of its.

A pound of Kopi Luwak coffee will cost you about USD 300.00 or about USD50.00 a cup. The reason why it's so pricey because of the unique process which the coffee bean harvested and roasted in Indonesia.

The coffee bean are collected from nocturnal animal called the Luwak or Musang feasts on the matured coffee cherry. In the morning the farmers will collect the waste of the animals that scattered under the coffee tree and which are contain coffee seeds , process and clean it than send for roasters.

Mee Ayam

Mee Ayam or Chicken Noodles designed by Pelita Cafe. Harga Rm 3.50 per plate. The noodles need to soak in boil water for a few minutes and spread onto plate than pour in special black soysauce. Topped with fried chicken, salad and serve with soup and chili sauce. Before you start makan pour in some soup all over the noodles and enjoy.

The Boss In Black left peacefully on 20th. January 2010. Leaving behind his boss, his friends, cat food and cage. Jasa Mu Tetap Di Kenang....so now there is one vacancy to fill i.e Night Watcher Cat...better start looking around for black stray cats.

Maal Hijrah 1431

The Islamic New Year is a cultural event which Muslims observe on the first day of Muharram, the first month in the Islamic calendar. Many Muslims use the day to remember the significance of this month, and the Hijra, or migration, Islamic prophet Muhammad made it to the city now known as Medina. Recently, in many areas of Muslim population, people have begun exchanging cards and gifts on this day, though this is not commonly done. I wish all the best Maal Hijrah 1431 to my all Muslim friends.
