Finance Tip Of The Day For Me.

Buy a used car. The most expensive miles on a car are the first 10,000. Let someone else drive those for you. Buying used can save a lot of money considering how little value the car has actually lost. 1997 Honda Civic 1.6 V-TEC in memory

Cili Merah or Red Chilli Peppers

From Wikipedia the chili pepper, chilli pepper, or chili, is the fruit of the plants from the genus Capsicum, which are members of the nightshade family, Solanaceae. Even though chilis may be thought of as a vegetable, their culinary usage is generally as a spice, the part of the plant that is usually harvested is the fruit, and botany considers the plant a berry shrub.

The name, which is spelled chili, chile, or chilli, comes from Nahuatl chīlli via the Spanish word chile. The term chili in most of the world refers exclusively to the smaller, hot types of Capsicum. The mild larger types are called bell pepper in the United States, Canada (and sometimes the United Kingdom), sweet pepper in Britain and Ireland, capsicum in Pakistan India and Australasia, and paprika in many European and African countries. Bell peppers are often named simply by their colour (e.g. green or red pepper).

Chili peppers and their various cultivars originate in the Americas; they are now grown around the world because they are widely used as spices or vegetables in cuisine, and as medicine.

As for me the chilli is now very expensive at RM 15.00 per kg. Usually it was RM 5.00 to RM 6.50 depending on the supplier. But now the price skyrocketed eventhough the oil price reduced. Somebody need to check this.

Selamat Berkhatan atau Masuk Jawi atau Circumcision

WHAT IS CIRCUMCISION ( BERKHATAN OR MASUK JAWI )

Male circumcision is the removal of some or all of the foreskin (prepuce) from the penis. The word "circumcision" comes from Latincircum (meaning "around") and cædere (meaning "to cut").

Early depictions of circumcision are found in cave drawings and Ancient Egyptian tombs, though some pictures may be open to interpretation. Male circumcision is considered a commandment from God in Judaism. In Islam, though not discussed in the Qur'an, circumcision is widely practiced and most often considered to be a sunnah. It is also customary in some Christian churches in Africa, including some Oriental Orthodox Churches. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), global estimates suggest that 30% of males are circumcised, of whom 68% are Muslim. The prevalence of circumcision varies mostly with religious affiliation, and sometimes culture.

Mistreated By Deep Purple

The "grandfather" of the rock so to speak. One of the rock song I listened when I was in school. Deep Purple with Blackmore and Coverdale are still my rock heroes.

I've been mistreated, I've been abused.
I've been struck downhearted, baby, I've been confused
cause I know, yes, I know I've been mistreated.
Since my baby left me I've been losing my mind, you know I have.

I've been lonely, I've been cold.
I've been looking for a woman to have and hold
cause I know, yes, I know I've been mistreated.
Since my baby left me I've been losing, I've been losing,
I've been losing my mind, baby baby babe.

I've been mistreated, I've been abused.
I've been looking for a woman, yeh, I've been confused
cause I know, yes, I know I've been mistreated, ooh o-o-oh.
Since my baby left me I've been losing, losing,
I've been losing my mind, baby baby babe.
Oh oh oh, oh woman, oh woman, oh woman.

I've been losing my mind.

Roti Canai

Roti canai kosong RM 0.90 cents per piece. Made from flour, condensed milk, water and salt and come with free refill dhal curry and sambal. Usually ordered with Teh Tarik at RM 1.20 drink and sometimes free air suam to flush the digestive system.

The term "canai" derives either from: Chennai, a city in India which is formerly known as Madras.. Roti canai is presumed to have been introduced by immigrant labour from the Madras region where a similar combination of prata and dalcha - the accompanying lentil curry - is served. The local always order the roti from Chennai as the maker came from Chennai, India not China.

Nowadays some people need two pieces of roti canai to keep them going. The ideal roti is flat, fluffy on the inside but crispy and flaky on the outside. Enjoy while its still at RM 0.90 cents per piece.

Sepang Taps Run Dry ( Day 3 ) And Its Over

Finally the water started flow into the tap at 0600hrs but in murky condition. Back in business as usual at 0700hrs. The new filter installed from incoming supply to water boiler quickly became dark after a while. Crowds started to flow in like any other Sunday. Many thanks to SYABAS and their worker who did the repair works non stop although its rain everyday.

As reported by thestar online:-

Water supply to Sepang residents resumes today.

PUTRAJAYA: The 350,000 residents who have had water cuts in the last three days due to damage pipes in Sepang should get their supply restored by today.
As a temporary measure, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) will put in an interconnecting pipe to one of the three new alignment pipes to supply water to some 75,000 households in Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat and Sepang.
However, water supply would only be between 40% and 50% and it would take another three days for the supply to be fully restored as the new alignment pipes work to full capacity.
The Thursday morning incident at Kampung Revolusi Hijau in Sepang caused damage to three major pipes channelling water to the Semenyih plant and the disruption is believed to be due to illegal sand-mining activities and erosion.

Sepang Taps Run Dry

Today no water supply in Sepang and disrupting my business. We have to close early as all the water kept overnight runs dry. Morning breakfast and roti canai finished at 1100hrs as most of the shops are closed.

At 1200hrs the boiler for dispensing hot water runs dry. Nasi Ayam, canned drinks and mineral water was the main list.
Called the Customer Helpline begging for water but the answer given that their main priority is to supply water first to the people and mosque as today is Friday prayer. For business that I'm tending to, who serving people to eat and drink due to no water supply at their home , I have to find my own.
By 1500hrs the Cafe closed like every other restaurant nearby.

As reported by thestar online :

THREE pipes channelling water to the Semenyih plant burst yesterday, disrupting supply to 75,000 households in the Sepang, Kuala Langat and Hulu Langat districts with 350,000 residents.
In its statement, Syabas said the 150cm, 120cm and 105cm-sized pipes at Kampung Revolusi Hijau in Sepang were damaged due to suspected sand-mining activities carried out by a third party.
Following the 7.15am incident, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) issued a code red alert for the areas.
Syabas operations executive director V. Subramaniam who was at the site said it would take between three days to a week for water supply to be restored.

“A combination of sand-mining activities and erosion contributed to the damage to the pipes. Due to this, we have to lay a new line of pipes.
Erosion and sand-mining: A combination of the activities led to the burst water pipes which disrupted supply to 75,000 households in Sepang, Kuala Langat and Hulu Langat.

“The new line will be longer and would require realignment. It would take a lot of work and we also need to mobilise the machinery and source for spare pipes,” he added.
Subramaniam added that a police report had been lodged over the matter and said Syabas would also inform the Selangor state government on the sand-mining activity.
Meanwhile, Syabas contractors will start work immediately. Read more here.

I don't know and i don't care what party, I JUST WANT MY WATER SUPPLY BACK!
